November 11 TV channel ICTV will air series "The Sniffer". The protagonist is played by Estonian actor Kirill Kyaro - one of a kind expert who is capable to define what one ate, with whom one slept, and whether one has an alibi by insignificant olfactory trace.
He lives in an ivory tower - in the world of fragrances, thousands of nuances of which are kept in his house in a sterile laboratory. And much more in his memory. For him the outside world is a door, which he enters to unravel another crime. And once again tie himself in knots - in simple for the average person, everyday things - the relationship with his ex-wife, son, and the emerging new sympathy...
It is hard to talk about the smell, and even more difficult to show it. So it was a kind of a challenge for the director Artem Litvinenko.
But each coin has different sides. However, his sense of smell is as much a gift as it is a curse. This guy can solve a mystery by having a single sniff around but what happens when all these myriads of scents force their way into his private life?
The intense and dynamic plot, created by Artem Litvinenko in collaboration with screenwriter Andrei Babic absorbes you from the start. At the same time the cast of new actors frees the viewer from the stereotypes and comparisons. A brilliant photography by Andrei Lisetsky, multiplied by the technologically advanced special effects, put a picture on a par with the best Hollywood hits of the detective genre.
