On August 1 nominees of Seoul International Drama Awards were announced. Yesterday, August 30, at the awards ceremony at the National Theater of Korea mini-series "The Bomber" received Special Prize for facilitating cross-cultural exchange. In addition, the film struggled in the mini-series category with such strong contestants as "The Underground Empire", "Sherlock 2", "Great Expectations". Also, director of the series Vitaly Vorobyov was shortlisted in the category "Best Director".
During 2012 our mini-series has received 4 awards from international television festivals and 5 times not only competed for the best mini-series, but was also nominated for "Best Special Effects", "Best Actor / Actress" and "Best Screenplay." And for now we await the outcome of the festival Prix Europa, which will be held from 20 to 27 October in Berlin, where the "Ballad of a Bomber" is nominated in the category of TV Fiction.
