"Life of Pi" - dubbed at FILM.UA Studio

January 1, Ukrainian cinemas launched a film on the novel by Yann Martel - "Life of Pi". The film was dubbed in Ukrainian by POSTMODERN, which recording studios are located on FILM.UA Studio. Ukrainian dubbing was recognized by philologists experts for the fidelity of the translation.

Film, which is still being shown in many countries around the world, has already attracted a record number of positive reviews and is praised not only by the audience but also received prestigious international film awards.

Synopsis:

The protagonist, a young man named Pi, was born in India in a family of prosperous zoo owner. Eventually, his family decides to sell their zoo over a land dispute with the government, and sell the animals to various zoos around the world before immigrating to Canada. Pi's family embarks on a Japanese freighter to Canada carrying some of the animals from their zoo, but a few days out of port, the ship meets a storm and capsizes, resulting in his family's death. During the storm, Pi escapes death in a small lifeboat with a spotted hyena, an injured zebra, and an orangutan. From this point animals and human are forced to fight for survival in the middle of the vast ocean, where they are lurking many difficulties, and main is hunger...
