"The Rising Hawk" historical action made over 13 million UAH in its opening weekend!

The film directed by Akhtem Seitablayev and John Wynn, produced by Kinorob and CinemaDay, and sponsored by the Ukrainian State Film Agency premiered on screens in Ukraine on October 10, 2019.

During its first weekend (October 11-14) the motion picture has raised 13,242,481.60 UAH, and has been seen by 148,068 viewers. The Rising Hawk was presented on 312 screens in 190 cinemas all over Ukraine.

A large international cast from Ukraine, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan and Mongolia took part in The Rising Hawk. Historical action "The Rising Hawk"

Tagline: Freedom is my essence

Synopsis: the year 1241. The Mongol horde led by khan Burunda spreads on the West, ruining everything on its path. Having reached the high Carpathian Mountains, the army stops at their foot. However, at night several local hunters, the Berkut brothers, sneak into the camp and release the captives. The furious khan decides to go straight to get revenge and annihilate Carpathian settlements. With this in mind, he finds a traitor among the locals, who shows him a secret passage in the mountains. But a small community of mountain hunters led by Zakhar Berkut has their agenda to stop the numerous enemy forever.
