"Uprowadzona Księżniczka" is to Conquer Poland: the Movie to be Released on June 22

On June 22, the Ukrainian full-length animation tape The Stolen Princess (Animagrad, FILM.UA Group) will be on screens in Poland. Ukrainian cartoon will be released in two versions at once: in the original language and in Polish dubbing.

For the first time outside Ukraine, the animated film will be screened in the original voice acting in Ukrainian. Therefore, Ukrainians living outside the country would be also able to feel the spirit of the movie and laugh at the original gags. The distributor of the Ukrainian version in Poland will be Nova Films, and the screenings will be held with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland.

Recall that in the Ukrainian version the main characters spoke in voices of the vocalists from Vremya i Steklo band, as well as Yuri Gorbunov, Sehiy Prytula, Oleh Fahot Mykhailiuta, Dima Monatik and other Ukrainian stars.

The tape in Polish dubbing will appear in all cinemas of the country in parallel with the screenings in the original language, the distributor will be Monolith Films.

The main characters of the film received new names in the Polish dubbing – they are going to be named Remik and Milka, while the best friend of the protagonist Nestor will be called Lutsek, the name of Chernomor was reduced to the laconic Chernodiy (Blackface), and the pompous knight Farlaf became Fabian. Actors Alexander Sosiński (Remik), Milena Stasiuk (Milka), Josef Pavlovsky (Lucek-Nestor), Leszek Filipovich (Chernodei), Grzegorz Kvitsen (Fin), Claudius Kafman (Fabian-Farlaf), Matsel Kosman (Prince Robert-Vladimir) and Wojciech Pashkowsky (Cat)are the voice cast for Polish dubbing.

By the way, one more record was set by The Stolen Princess just recently: Romania has prolonged the screenings for the 13th week.

Recall that on March 7 the animation film was launched in Ukraine, where The Stolen Princess immediately set the record and became the highest-grossing film of Ukrainian production: for two weeks the animation collected 29,801,235 hryvnia and surpassed the three-month box office of the military drama Cyborgs with collections in 23 032 807 hryvnia. In general, the Ukrainian box office have reached the amount of $ 1,388,054.00, in the cinema it was watched by 492,224 Ukrainians.

During the spring and summer, The Stolen Princess was released in the cinemas of Turkey, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Vietnam, Mongolia and Georgia. Now the screenings go on in the cinemas of Romania, Serbia, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and very soon the animation would be released in Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Estonia, Portugal, China and Latin America. According to general estimates, The Stolen Princess has already collected more than $ 3 million and 860,000 spectators in 22 countries.

Reference. The Stolen Princess is the first full-length animated film for Ukrainian and international rentals in the production line of animation studio Animagrad. The premiere of the film in Ukraine took place on March 7, 2018, according to the results of the second weekend, he became the record holder of domestic films among Ukrainian-made films. The animation won the 9th Ukrainian State Film Agency competition, and the amount of state funding is about 20% of the total budget of 95 million UAH.
