Big Screenings and Crazy Stories, a line of theatrical projects from Animagrad, Kinorob, and FILM.UA to be released on the big screens in 2018-2020.
The poster introduces the main characters of the film – Stephania, a Ukrainian narrator of the story, and a lady Adele Anger, half Polish, half German. The images of the two women, whose fat e was intertwined in an inextricable connection, were created by the artist Svitlana Dorosheva. Developing the concept art, Svitanana was inspired by the style of modern and the placards of the Czech artist Alfons Mucha. But, if to look closely, the small tiles that decorated the stoves in Galicia, and the iconic places of Stanislavov, the Sokol House and Lutsky villa, can be seen in addition to the main characters of the poster.
The action of the novel "Felix Austria" unfolds in Stanislav (present-day Ivano-Frankivsk) at the end of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The usual city on the chains of "happy Austria", in which they live, suffer, become inextricably fallen in love, admire science and charlatan performances of world-known illusionists, entertain balls and carnivals, go to a spatula and hide secrets in carved chests of drawers. At the backdrop of an epoch that will grow up with myths about idyllic life for the posterity, the fate of two women intertwined as the trunks of trees, in a fatal connection that does not allow either to live, to breathe, to stay or to leave.
Recall that the rights to adaptation of the novel Felix Austria were acquired by FILM.UA Group. At the moment, arrangements are finalized with Polish co-production partners.
