Demonstration Rights for Battle For Sevastopol Acquired by Canal+ and Sky Cinema VOD Platform

The rights to demonstrate a biopic about the life of legendary female sniper from World War II Lyudmila Pavlichenko, Battle for Sevastopol, were acquired by Canal+ (France) and Sky Cinema VOD platform (UK). The film will become available to Sky Cinema subscribers starting from February 17, 2017 at 19:20 local time.

Before, the rights to film demonstration were sold to Japan, South Korea, Germany, Poland and Turkey. And starting from November 2016, a full-length feature version of Battle for Sevastopol is available to Amazon Prime subscribers in the USA and Canada.

What the film is about: Love under the endless enemy fire, friendship with Eleanor Roosevelt, speech at a conference, which influenced the outcome of World War II, the willingness to live coupled with the fear of losing a loved one – will a fragile woman cope with all this?

It is a real story of Lyudmila Pavlichenko, a legendary female sniper. The soldiers went into battle with her name on their lips, and the enemies hunted for her. She saw death and suffering on the battlefield, but love which could be taken away by war became the most serious trial for her…
