UA Formats settles firmly in Latvia. MTG Media Group is to adopt a "Daddy's House" reality Season 2

TV3 Latvia channel has already started preparations for Season 2: according to the producers, this one will have15-episodes, the first one forthcoming fall 2017.

In January 2016 the format was acquired by two broadcasting companies at once - TV3 channel both in Latvia and in Lithuania, for the sake of local adaptations of Season 1. The reality  premiered on TV3 Latvia in spring with flying colors. The Tēta nedienas Latvijā producers share the production details: "To be quite honest, there were some difficulties with casting in the first place, but we made our best to overcome them. And it worked!"

The project's ratings say it all – "Daddy's House" exceeded its timeslot average by 41% among 4+ age category and by 17% among those aged 15-49!

"In our re-make we have filmed some specials with celebrities, and this played well on ratings and general awareness of the reality – social networks swarmed with discussion about daddy's role in a family, intelligent approach to parenting etc." - says Inguna Sermole, MTG Group domestic production manager.

Daddy’s House is a comedy reality, originally produced and broadcasted by STB TV Channel in Ukraine in 2012. In the beginning of this fall the broadcaster has premiered 5th season of the project domestically.

A unique and unprecedented Ukrainian project UA Formats is basically a complete catalogue of almost all Ukrainian formats ever made on local TV with a one common feature – a great success story of broadcast: either in terms of ratings, number of seasons on air or number of local adaptations in CIS countries or all of those factors combined.
