6th Odessa International Film Festival will be held July 10-18. Within the Film Forum, except for traditional competition and non-competition programmes, will be held a series of special events aimed at support and development of Ukrainian film industry and the international promotion of Ukrainian cinematography, as well as a series of presentations, panel discussions and workshops. On Monday, July 13 at Lanzheronovskaya descent will be held a special screening of "Nezlamna" (dir. Sergei Mokritsky). The biopic about the sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko became the highest grossing national premiere in the history of Ukrainian film release and starres actress Julia Peresild, who was awarded Temple of Heaven at the 5th International Film Festival in Beijing. The screening will start at 21:20.
July 14 (13:00) within Film Industry Office Marketing and PR Director of FILM.UA Group Polina Tolmacheva will present a case study on "Industrial Approach to Film Business in Ukraine. The dream, which is to become a reality". Polina Tolmacheva will share the experience of the company on how to create cost-effective schemes of audiovisual content production, as well as legislative initiatives and plans for the development of the media business in Ukraine.
July 17 (15:30) FILM.UA Group will present the project "Okean Elzy. Backstage", directed by the member of the jury of the national competition documentary filmmaker Sergei Bukovsky. Presentation of the film will take place in the framework of "Work in Progress. Special screening".
Creative producer of FILM.UA Group Olesya Lukyanenko was invited as an expert to take part in innovative educational project "Terrarium. Scenario Workshop". This programme is designed for those who want to finish or improve their script, as well as to prepare for the international pitching.
