April 18 International Film Festival WorldFest-Houston (USA) held its awards ceremony. According to the results of jury voting detective series The Sniffer (FILM.UA) won Platinum Remi Award in the category "TV mini-series". Docudrama "Archimedes. Master of numbers" (FILM.UA, Signal Red) took second place in the "documentary film" category and received Gold Remi Award. Among the numerous applications from more than 40 countries, FILM.UA was the only representative from Ukraine.

Founded in 1961 WorldFest became the third competitive international film festival in North America, following San Francisco and New York. WorldFest is the oldest Independent Film & Video Festival in the World. It evolved into a competitive International Film Festival in April. WorldFest offers competition in TV Production, Documentary, Corporate & Business Films, Student & Experimental, TV Commercials, Film & Video Production, Music Videos, New Media (Interactive & Web Sites) and unproduced Screenplays.

In addition, drama "Inseparable" (FILM.UA) won Yellow Oscar for best feature at Uranium Film Festival (Quebec, Canada). The aim of the festival is to inform about all sides of nuclear power and the risks of radioactivity. Independent documentaries and movies are the best tool to transport that information. And a festival is the best way to bring these films to the people! The Uranium Film Festival creates a neutral space to throw light on all nuclear issues. Societies and people should have the right of choice if they want to follow the nuclear road or not.
