The first reviews of theatrical version of the show OE.20 LIVEINKYIV
February 26, 2015 theatrical version of the show OE.20 LIVEINKYIV (FILM.UA Group production) is released in cinemas. Yesterday Okean Elzy, FILM.UA Group and Ukrainian Film Distribution presented OE.20 LIVEINKYIV to the journalists at "Planeta Kino IMAX". Representatives of more than 60 editions, as well as leading TV channels came to see the film.

It's a great team of Ukrainian producers , cameramen and British cinematographers, in particular, my new friend Andy Horner and my old friend and partner Vitaly Telezina who did the sound mixing. It was quite difficult, as many things sound better than it was in reality, - said Svyatoslav Vakarchuk. – It’s the first time I saw "Okean Elzy" from the outside. Frankly, I liked it. Am I completely satisfied? I guess not. Am I satisfied and ready to show it to people? Yes, I think there is something to be proud of".

More than 75,000 fans from all over the world attended the anniversary show “Okean Elzy – 20 years Together” at the NSC “Olimpiyskyi” in Kyiv, on 21 June 2014, which is the official national record. Both classic and current line-up of OE performed that night. There were 35 songs performed, 20 of which were selected by OE members to be included into the theatrical version of the show OE.20 LIVE IN KYIV.
Andy Horner, a world-famous British cinematographer (Depeche Mode, AC/DC, Pet Shop Boys) was invited by FILM.UA to run the shooting of OE.20 LIVE IN KYIV. However, the theatrical version of such an outstanding show faces the essential challenge – a perfect recreation of the live sound. The latest audio recording technologies were used to capture the unique vibrations and give cinemagoers an opportunity to feel themselves like a part of OE live performance.
