On Monday, January 12 "Inter" successfully launched new series produced by FILM.UA "The Hellene". This melodrama has become a Monday leader with a share of 14.4% amoung 18-54 audience (50+), which is almost 4 million of viewers.
Producers are Victor Mirsky, Yekaterina Shvets, Olesya Lukyanenko, Anna Skok.
"We were lucky with the crew. Three director's tendems worked on the project: Igor Zabara and Matvei Shulgin, Ira Gromozda and Markiyan Kanyuka, Masha Tkacheva and Slava Rakowski. They have proved to be professionals. We were also incredibly lucky with the art director. Vlad Odudenko, award-winning artist who has worked for many years in feature films. This year, he had several big premieres: "Kredens", "The Tribe", "The Guide", "Braty. Ostanny Spovid" and others. Despite that fact, he agreed to work on a 60-episode project and built an incredible scenery. It is about 60 objects in one soundstage. We also have a very strong postproduction team. Editors sometimes work wonders", - says Olesya Lukyanenko.
It took about 6 months to shoot the series, including the pre- and postproduction of the first episodes (148 shooting days). About 40% of the scenes takes place on location. It is about 60 locations, including a small provincial town, the capital, the village and many others. The rest of the shooting took place in the soundstage.
Starring Olga Grishina as "The Hellene", Olga Sumskaya, Victoria Litvinenko, Anton Feoktistov, Alexey Fateev.
"We initially set ourselves a task to use the maximum number of Ukrainian actors. It's ours, Ukrainian Product: Ukrainian script, directors, cameramen, and most importantly - money", - says Yekaterina Shvets.
"The Hellene" tells the story of a young girl who marries a rich and promising young man, but his powerful mother stands against the union of the two lovers.
