This year a prestigious publishing company C21Media launched International Drama Awards. The winners were unveiled on November 20 at a ceremony on the closing night of the sold out C21 International Drama Summit. Contest consists of ten different categories, each judged by world’s leading drama commissioners, buyers and showrunners. In total, the jury consisted of more than 70 people.
The Sniffer, produced by FILM.UA, became one of the finalists in Best Non-English Language Drama category. 40 series were entered in Best Non-English Language Drama, and the votes were split more evenly between the entries, having 13 finalists in this section. This represents the amazing quality of international drama currently at large in the market.
