German documentary with Ukrainian computer graphics

SIGNAL RED and one of the most successful production companies in Central Germany Saxonia Entertainment (Leipzig, Germany) began a collaboration on the German documentary TV project with the working title "Buchenwald" ("Buchenwald"), director André Meyer, producer Simone Baumann.

The film is made for public television channel Das Erste, which enters the largest network ARD. SIGNAL RED develops visual reconstruction (3D animation) of the concentration camps in its territory and the main objects: gates of the camp, the SS barracks, a platform where prisoners were collected, watchtowers, a small camp, crematorium, brothel, hospital barracks, house of the Fuhrer and the camp commander, railway station, Gustloff-factory, zoo, stable, and many other buildings of Buchenwald.

Premiere of the film is scheduled for the winter-spring 2015. Das Erste will first show a feature film, a new adaptation of the famous novel (1958) "Nackt unter Wölfen" by German playwright and camp prisoner Bruno Apitz.This novel has been translated into 30 languages​​, has already been filmed. After the feature film channel will show a documentary project "Buchenwald", which was also created by SIGNAL RED.
